Yeah yeah...I wanted to revisit the argent crusade bikini top used in the one year anniversary comic so long ago. I bought a stack of those "how to draw manga" books to see if i can do anything to increase my art quality. This pic was just some practice sketches I did to try out some of their suggested techniques.

There probably won't be any updates for a long while. I colored this in because I wanted to have the pic that is going to be up for the time being to be something with a little higher quality than a pencil comic making fun of Skyrim follower AI, heh.

Work starting next week is going to leave me very little free time, and what time I have to do art is going to be used doing character designs for possible second webcomic. Actual definitive character designs...something to use as a reference for all other character drawings to come...you know...the stuff I SHOULD have done for S&K before I started it. I'm just going to see if its even possible for me to draw the same character a hundred times and have it look exactly the same. Drawing S&K for 2 years didn't do it for me before, so I'm not even sure if I have the talent for it. If not, back to devient art doing single images, heh...

hi Clef,
nice sketches. Regarding what you said, I have to disagree. You did a great job at drawing the same characters over and over again and they did look the same. None can draw a character in two drawings and have it look exactly the same, no matter how good you are. I'm sure you'll improve (even if you don't seem to believe it) and I'm looking forwards to seeing whatever new art you came up with.

Thing is, I recognized the characters when you drew them, so you did a pretty good job making them nearly identical. Dunno 'bout the rest, I ain't an arteest.

But I do know what I like. This? I like.

It's very pleasing to the eye Clef, and that's the important thing. I very much admire your work. Plus I like Jyo. :)

I need to beef up (no offense Kleeyo) my own drawing skills so that I can provide you with some fan art.

When I did the characters for Gratz I made them simple because I would have to draw them a lot and from different perspectives. (Starfire appears over 200 times in Gratz Genesis)

So ya getting a good design down is huge and not an easy task. best of luck to hope inspiration hits good and hard. (are we going to get to see the designs when you finish them?

Not the main character I would have liked to see in a bikini, but very nice work.

By all means take care of the important things first. I still check here weekly, as well as the DA page, so update when you are able.

dont be to harsh on yourself, from my non-atistic point of view you have an amazing art-style,, to me it seems weird to complain about S&K not being drawn good enough.. relax you're fantastic:)
