An extra large comic this week. Was originally going to be two separate ones, but I just needed something more to work on to help keep my mind off the events of this week.
Anyways, the next Skyrim add-on has been announced, and its less than a month away! It looks like a real expansion this time! I kind of figured that Dawnguard and Hearthfire were just fillers to keep people busy while they worked on something greater. In any case, I hope this one has challenging content for lvl 81 characters and not balanced just for lvl 50's like the previous ones.
In the last 2 panels Sara is supposed to be holding a Hammer of Wrath (I'd imagine Imordiros is at pretty low health). I miss the old graphic for that spell...the spinning glowing hammer flying across the field....now it just looks like a judgement spell. Never understood why they changed it...

Sara in the 11th panel reminds me of Steven Segal in the movie "Executive Decision" when the connection between the 747 and the other plane is breaking up Kurt Russel say "Are we gonna make it?" Segal slams the hatch shut on the 747 while saying "You will" and then falls to his death.
Didn't mean to sound like I was complaining. Just meant the panel affected me as viscerally as the sequence in the movie, Sara sacrificing herself for Kleeyo and Tallia's sake brings this to mind: "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends"
Yeah us freakin paladins have a habit of sacrificing for the greater good, but damn that was a hell of a climax. Awesome story arc thus far. Looking forward to its conclusion and what comes next!!
Weird, Hammer of Wrath for me is still a hammer being flung. Was during 4.1 or something just judgement but I think it got changed back. Maybe it never got reverted on US servers.
Personally I was more annoyed when they changed DK's blood boil from an awesome red aura to a HoR graphic. :L
Well balancing Skyrim is really awful for high levels... level 71 enganging Alduin...
Dragonbone sword 100 one handed, full alchemy bost of enchanting and smithing (meaning about 160 base damage, 83 fire, 83 shock) he went down so quickly... plus 100 resist magic + 56 percent resist fire.
Even in light dragon armor I am practicaly impervious to any form of attack.
She is a dragon... significantly corrupted and weakened one. Transformation should ordinarily take 0 effort on their part (if they aren´t prevented by some magic like those neck-rings Darkhan Drahthir used on Kalecgos and Tyrigosa during their mission to save Sunwell´s essence).
However if infinite dragon is disjoined from the world... so while beeing in it, not out of timeways completly, it takes some effort. (Killing a elder dragon has reprecusions in the world... they are attuned to it... killing a blue one creates arcane distorsion, killing red one is not taken well by local fauna and flora, green´s death creates distruption in dreams... killing black caused quakes and lava eruptions... kiling bronze distrupted time)
Generaly the distruption isn´t a catastrophy but it exists. Even if Aspects are no more, dragons are still very much part of reality itself. (Because of that they do not cope well with threats that originate outside of what they are attuned for)
This arc is starting to vaguely remind me of Back To The Future now Clef. Not that that's a bad thing, but I was wondering if that was where you got the idea for this story from.
Am I the only one who thinks that Sara is getting a (excuse le french) badass moment here? I can't wait to see how epic Sara's and Imordiros' final moments will be. eue
I am going to cry when this is finally over. Not having any more of their beautiful friendship to look forward to will leave an empty spot in my week. You created something wonderful in this comic Clef. Thank you.
I'd say yeah.
However, Chromie seem a bit disturbed in the 13th panel..
Happy Veteran's Day Clef!

*thinks of life tap*
So. She's... a warrior/rogue/warlock hybrid then? Actually, now that I think about it, it's not really that uncommon for a boss monster. :P

Because THIS is getting ever better than many of those "featured" kiddy-scratch-comics...
looking foreword to next week!
