An updated version of my "altoholic" image. Since I made the other one and before I left the game, one of the last things I did was level a worgen druid to 85 and race changed my mage back to a human. Still no Pandaran monk, but no sense in removing an image I already made.

Made a few additional changes, such as; added a background, showed more of Jyo's body, put the gun back in her hand, fixed Kleeyo's face, ect. I know what you may be thinking.. "Everyone is standing straight but Jyosette is the same height but leaning forward...does that mean Jyo is REALLY tall?"

Umm....I have an answer for that...I really do! She's standing atop my gnome bank alt! THERE! SEE!?

I would answer that, but the poor guy has gone through enough humiliation as it is.

The beach background certainly befits the drawing of your cast Clef, though I thought it was a great drawing already.

Out of curiosity was there a specific reason you left WoW, or did the game just lose its appeal? I left because too much changed with Cata, and particularly the game had been IMHO dumbed down far too much.

The storylines in Mists are amazing. The leveling experience both variety-wise and story-wise is the best I have ever seen. Yes, they simplified a lot, but in doing so they are focusing a lot more on situational awareness and using the mechanics that your character has available. Everyone has their gripes about the dailies after you REACH 90, but as many will say the dailies are optional. There are many different ways to spend your time and gear your character after you hit max level. If you don't enjoy doing one thing you can do something else. The variety is there like it never has been.

Pretty much both of what you described.

By the time I came back from my second deployment, all my in-game and real-life friends had left WoW. I no longer had a social reason to play. I tried twice during cata to come back, but the game has changed so much it's a lot harder to make in-game friends (and thus a good guild you can really fit in with) than it used to be.

Making absolutely everything cross-realm hurt the social aspect of the game the most, in my opinion.

Perfectly valid reasons that I too can relate to Clef. I understand fully. (BTW that was me as "guest". I hadn't realised that my virus scanner had deleted my cookies for this site.)

I remember when I came back to the game and had no guild or anyone that i knew still on, In a way it was kinda nice to start over a bit and get the enjoyment of finding a nice guild and good people to hang with.

but that's just me.

I know just how that is. after everyone's been gone it can be hard to get back in the game. And not always easy to make new friends among strangers.

My server is slowly switching to Cataclysm. Honnestly, i'm not sure if I'll stay here or not. I've tried the beta (it worked pretty fine), even though it seemed at first rather good, I grew tired of it rather soon, so getting back to a BC server.
Why don't you try it?

Private servers? Yeah, I looked into those a while back. Problem is all the good ones keep getting shut down. I assume you are on one for the European version of the game?
Adamantine 26th Jan 2013, 9:44 PM edit delete reply
yeah, I'm on two of them, Ad Vitam Aeternam (WOTLK, going on Cata) and WoW Mania (BC server). If you're interested :p

Always great to see an update from you Cleff, and your art continues to improve every time.

Hope things are going well with the new job and that it becomes the permanent career you deserve.

I too respect that it's difficult to keep a webcomic going when the source of inspiration has dried up. All the same I lament that we didn't get to know Jyo very well, other than that she "prefers natural bounce", doesn't like being left out of the action but also has a tendency to fall asleep during play rehersals.

Also, love seeing Kleeyo blushing like that, it's so adorable.

You should join Doomhammer and play alliance. I bet you'd love my guild. I think you'd fit right in, in all honesty. :)
