This is actually an outtake. Was originally going to be comic #45, but decided not to do it. But since I'm running out of ideas, here is this one.

I had a few other things in the comic that was was originally going to implement, but then for some reason or another decided not to. Back when I started the Ulric the Unpuntable chapter, he was originally not going to be equipped with a shrink ray, but a weapon that broke people down into many miniature versions of themselves. His plan was to break Kleeyo down into (actual) mini-kleeyos and punt each one of them individually, so Kleeyo would suffer being punted a hundred times similar to the hundreds of gnomes she punted herself. During the last scene, Sara would jump in front of the ray to selflessly block Kleeyo and end up getting duplicated herself, where then hundreds of mini-Saras would cause all sorts of trouble (devouring crops, swarming Tirion with hugs, ect). However right when I was about to begin all that, Dark Legacy Comics began its 1000 Miji clone scenerio. Mine would have seemed like a direct ripoff, so I gave Ulric a simple shrink ray instead.

Great comic as always! I could only imagine the chaos an army of mini-Saras would cause... *zones off into his own happy little world of comics*

(Am I logged in this time? Good!)

A Taurgen!? AWESOME idea Clef!! That has to be the first cute worgen I've ever seen and the two panels showing the transformation are both adorable - she looks so innocent in both while at the same time you've captured her sense of bewilderment.

The ending is cool too, what an anticlimax, but typically Sarah.

Reading your explanation I can appreciate your frustration - I know what it's like to come up with an idea only to find that someone else has thought up something similar. Bah!

i do now wonder what adult talia looks like as a worgen now.
Lackinganame 17th Feb 2013, 2:56 AM edit delete reply
cool! I don't think most people realize all the good stuff that was with held for one reason or another. you can probable get a few months just out of "what was missed" pages.

Omg, hundreds of mini-Saras... World is not ready for it. Kleeyo definitely is not ready either. How much of her food would they stole? How is she supposed to Lava Burst them all, considering spells cooldown? Perhaps if she could somehow gather them and Thunderstorm them instead?

I didn't think Talia could get any cuter, nor Sara and her antics sweeter...yet you proved me thankfully wrong.

First, beautiful, funny work as always.

Humane.... That is Sara through and through.

Interesting she considers all worgen as abominations to the light. ...Hell, probably half the Alliance thinks so.
Clef 19th Feb 2013, 2:33 AM edit delete reply
From what I understand, that is actual lore in the game.

The Light is repulsed by curses. Lycanthropy is a curse, undeath is a curse, so neither Worgens or Forsaken can receive it's blessing despite being (formerly) human or even former paladins themselves.

But then again I remember seeing all those undead scarlet crusaders in Cata, many of which were probably paladins...

If I recall correctly, the explanation for Forsaken priests was that the Light hurts them but can be forced to serve them with enough willpower. Forsaken can't be paladins because pallies have a closer connection to the light and would suffer ever more, but Crusaders are such zealots that they probably ignore even that level of pain.
Lycanthrope 23rd Feb 2013, 3:04 AM edit delete reply
But worgen can be priests, I have one and the light does not harm them as it does Forsaken. That tends to mitigate, "abomination of the light" to a degree, though like Forsaken they cannot be paladins.

initially when the humans of gilneas became worgen, it would be considered a true curse and would likely fall under the "abomination of the light" category, but after the night elves helped them, it probably shouldn't be called a true curse. the reason why you couldn't have a worgen paladin would tie into the fact that they made their new home in darnassus with the night elves where they trained druidism. maybe if stormwind or ironforge had taken them in it might have been different?

Keep in mind, her ideas of "Humane" might be a little bent.
