This should be the last of the text-heavy comics for quite some time. It may start off a bit serious, but the story will lighten up once I finish introducing all the characters.

And if there is any speculation, yes, Tallia's necklace is the Stormy Deepholm Iolite that used to be the Heart of Time.

I wouldn't know how to react in this situation other then show up to the attack and offer my assistance in what ever way possible. The horde and alliance have too much hatred for each other but are too head strong to admit that they were in the wrong. If the taurens came and tried to aid the survivors then likely the tauren would not be targeted for retaliation. They have to admit that even they do not like the actions of the forsaken so why support them?

They'll be signing a different tune in a few patches

The Argent Crusade doesn't have a purpose? Yeah, that's because they are not stuck in an endless war, factions can still have a purpose when they are not fighting. In my opinion, they are simply waiting, preparing for the day when they will be once more called to defend the world from the forces or evil... or something. That, and i'm sure there are still isolated areas of scourge to fight.

Anyway, stupid Tauren, sounds like typical horde propaganda, 'you can't help us until you hate the alliance'
Course, have to admit, though I am career alliance, that Varian Wyrm isn't much different
Clef 18th Jun 2013, 1:50 PM edit delete reply
I know that. Doesn't mean every cranky old tauren has to feel that way, heh.

Also, Poor Tallia, she needs a hug, pity Sara is stuck up the top of the bloody world

Is this the first time we've seen TB in S & K? (We saw Mulgore during the Mother's Day episode).

I'm very much enjoying this Clef. Looks like it's going to be a very interesting story. I agree with the sentiments that the others have stated here; a pity the Tauren can't think outside the box (or the teepee?)

It's been almost two years since I played WoW now, and I lost interest very soon after Cata. Which elder Tauren is condescending to Talia there?

(I don't mind the wall of text - sometimes that's important in a given episode.)
Clef 18th Jun 2013, 1:53 PM edit delete reply
No one in particular. Actually this whole storyline is going to be almost completely free of actual lore characters, since I don't know any of the post-cata lore and who is where/doing what, ect.

The tauren are trying to think outside the box during Mists. The problem is that Garrosh is claiming ownership of the box. If you do not agree to live inside the box you are his enemy. And so far he has killed anyone he perceives as his enemy. Including other Horde. He ordered Vol'jin to be assassinated, and Vol'jin almost died in the attempt. How do you think outside the box under those circumstances? The tauren are too few to survive an attack by the orcs, much less the added forces of the Blackrock and Dragonmaw that Garrosh has brought in. They are now beginning to fight back with Baine allying with Vol'jin to siege Orgrimmar; but for the tauren to have defied Garrosh alone would have finished what the centaur tried to do to them.

So basically, this elder is putting the horde over his own race. What a fucker.
Lackinganame 18th Jun 2013, 4:51 PM edit delete reply
the quest where all Tauren need to travel to orgimar and pledge alliance to the horde there is something I come to decide. tho you swear in under hellscream you are swearing to the horde not to him so your oath is to the protection and service to the horde not to the service of a mad man. (thats my rationality)

but more imported is my day count off? have there been two updates in 2 weeks!

I am still surprised the horde hasn't flayed Sylvanas... and the same with the alliance.
Honestly I would be more excited with the whole current raid cycle if the horde were off dealing with Garrosh, and the alliance decided to take Sylvanas down. She has certainly done enough to earn hatred equivalent to Garrosh, from pretty much everyone except the forsaken.

I'm pretty sure the blood elves would back her up if the horde Decided they had enough of her. I'd imagine they have more loyalties to her than any other horde leader, especially since It's because of her they are with the horde in the first place. Like the forsaken they have shown they have the capacity to turn on their former allies. The Tauren/Orc/Troll alliance was forged in blood, thanks to Thrall. Not so much with those two.

It's been a while since I've played Frozen Throne but I thought that it was Illidan who led Kael'thas and his people to the service of Kil'jaeden after relations between the Blood Elves and the Alliance soured when Garithos left Kael'thas' troops to fend for themselves against the undead, and then accused them of high treason when they accepted help from the Naga. What part did Sylvanas play?
Clef 23rd Jun 2013, 2:30 PM edit delete reply
Kael'thas' belfs and the Silvermoon belfs are two different groups. Those you see fighting for the horde are the ones who didn't follow him to Outlands.

Sylvanas, being a former high elven general, still held a lot of clout with Silvermoon, and was the one who introduced the Silvermoon ambassadors to Thrall. I think players got to see that at the end of the ghostlands quests. However I have no idea how that may have changed since cata with Garrosh in charge. I only completed those quests once with Kleeyo during WOTLK and never went back.

Ah that explains it! Thanks Cleff.

I never rolled a Belf - I hate them as much as Sara (sorry to any Belfs who may be here). Or as much as you dislike Gnomes. :P
