So we finally see the worgen form of our resident..um...windwalker mage? Remember when unarmed skill was still around for all classes? This is what happens when you maxed it out on a spellcaster...

...okay, maybe not. But still...

(and yes, I maxed out unarmed on my mage. Lot of good that did now, right? At least we got a FoS achieve for it.)

Impressive! Well he came across initially as a bit of a doofus but he knows a few good moves.

Clef, was Talia's worgen infection non-canon?

EDIT: I sure remember weapon skills, and I enjoyed them. The first time I picked up a new weapon type and saw the message "Your skill with [weapon] has increased to 2" I thought how cool it was that the more a player used a weapon the better they were against a noob. I made a point of keeping all of mine up. Unarmed especially, as it was a big advantage whenever you were hit with a disarm debuff.

Sadly not even IronWoW still has weapon skills. They exist on IW but are awarded automatically each time you level up.

Originally that was an "out take" comic, so no, but I might change my mind on that.

I remember leveling my first toon in WoW in the last few months before Cataclysm came out.... but I remember how much of a pain in the ass it was to improve those particular skills... That was only I was glad they got rid of when Cataclysm came out.

Sorry... Meant to say "That was one thing I am glad they got rid of when Cataclysm came out."

400 Unarmed on a squishy... oh, the number of naked Deadmines runs I did to get that.

Okay, looks like it's probably too small to be Hogger...

...That's not a gnome-worgen, is it? XD That would be hilarious.

I remember when one of my guildies made the new epic staff so I could run ICC with them but I hadn't leveled my staves. Took me 10 minutes to kill ONE level 55 sand work in Sithilus. That was on the FIRST sand worm. After TWO sand worms I was finally ready for Satyrs in Crystal Tree Forest lol.

Yes! Worgen do have tails! Also, I made sure my main got a Knuckle Sandwich (achievement) back in Wrath.

I remember getting that achievement the day before weapon skills went away. It was a long grind.

I also see your signature Worgen tail has made a come back!

Keep that crate and chain, even without the weight of something in it, tis a fearsome weapon.

Okay, our calm-while-cooked priest was the last person I was expecting to be a Worgen.

Hey, Clef! Have you given any thought to coming back to WoW when Warlords of Draenor goes live?
Clef 10th Mar 2014, 1:19 AM edit delete reply

No one I know plays the game anymore. Hard to get back into it without the social aspect. Ever since they turned the game into a series of tedious grinds that's all that was left.

He felt on his on skin how it is like to be a healer in battleground? He knows the feeling when one is at receiving end of every possible stun/fear/polymorph/silence/etc? Then I undestand his fury.
