Geez...Tallia is really having a tough time making friends. Seems like everyone 4 feet tall and under wants her dead. Perhaps its a carry-over from her mother's legacy.

I had some turtles once. One of the females hated the other so it tried to eat it.

I also have two sisters. They don't try to eat one another but they sure like to fight.

I feel bad for the guy who is placedin the middle of two angry females.

Almost sounds like how my interactions with other women go most of the time. I at least try to get along with them first, but I can't stand the drama a lot of women cause.

I've generally always preferred the company of men. :)

Kyaaaaa! That female Gnoll is so cute I'd die if rolled one!
Thisguy 22nd Apr 2014, 8:33 AM edit delete reply
Awwww, she's jealous. Well actually, I'm pretty sure it goes deeper than that, this is a Queen Gnoll, who hasn't been around many other females, particularly as any other Gnoll females would be seen as rivals. Especially if we assume this 'usurper' is female.

That's pretty much all of it right there.

I've long wanted the Gnolls to be a playable race, back from W3 when they looked dog-like rather than hyena-like. They still made the same sounds though.

Am I correct in recalling that Gnolls are the only WoW humanoid race who have no audio speech and yet communicate entirely via text? We all know they say "Grr, more bones to chew on" but it's not in audio, is it?

I like Birdy already. Her eyes are amazing to look at Clef. :) This whole sequence of hers is cute.

And dat look on Talia's face! *snerk!*

Yeah, Gnolls were too cool in WC3.

Ghouls spoke in WC3 but I can't remember any speech from them outside text in WOW.

Not even Sayge, the most advanced of all the Gnolls speaks in voice. You get one growl to translate the walls of text his quests consist of.

ROFL! (I got a real belly laugh out of that, thanks :) )

Yeah, Blizz really ought to create voices for the gnolls, if for no other reason than make Sayge less of a text bot.

It's a shame that the gnoll queen there doesn't like her. She's cute, and I'm starting to think they'd make a great cast together. :D

That's a beautiful way of communicating! Might be a bit time consuming to draw though. Is this how Birdy will be talking henceforth?

Birdy's mindset is very interesting. She's uncomfortable with the idea of female competition for Allistar's percieved affections (I won't go any further into it than that) yet she comes from a society where it's normal for the female to be courted by multiple males.
Clef 23rd Apr 2014, 3:09 PM edit delete reply
Yeah, that's how Birdy and Yurgle will be communicating throughout the rest of the story.

Birdy is pretty much every female in my family. So I'm laughing at this, but also kinda sad.

Oh, well. She's adorable, at least.

I like to think that last panel translates into, "AND she's prettier then me!!"
Thisguy 29th Apr 2014, 1:06 AM edit delete reply
Could just as likely be "and her BOOBS are bigger than mine!"
I'll see myself out.
RedLion2000 29th Apr 2014, 3:32 AM edit delete reply
I'll be seeing myself out as well, Thisguy, since I'd take either of them in a heartbeat. >_> That just shows how good of a job you did on Birdy, Clef.

Ah yes, this Gnoll queen is quite wise. She knows that females cannot co-exist it always leads to ruin. Why just look at what happens with Tallia's mom and her human friend. Lava burst, lava bursts everywhere.
