This was not really part of the storyline, but a filler comic I had saved for a rainy day. However after making the next part of the story, I realized this was probably the best time to post this one, since the last comic involved the heroes in the barrens looking for Deathwing, and this happened to have both those elements.
Originally when I browsed the new cata achievements on wowhead and found the "killed by deathwing" one, I got the impression he only appeared in the barrens during some sort of randomly timed event, so that's why I made the comic take place there. It turns out he torches pretty much every zone. By the way, does that kill all the mobs too or just players?
In any case, it fits, although I feel this detracts a bit since it portrays them dying, which if that occurs during the actual storyline, is game over for them!
Oh yeah, the whole "shamans smoke peyote" thing stems from a joke from the old WoW machinima "The Grind". And DW is singing a modification of the Mighty Mouse quote "Here I come to save the day!"
Exit question: Has anyone else watched "The Grind"? If not, go to warcraftmovies.com and catch up on the classics!

I love how you portray Deathwing. It makes me feel not so lonely when I talk about how ridiculously easy it is to pick on the big bad dragon covered in metal band aids.
In answer to your question: Yes he does kill every mob he comes across, including quest NPCs. I got torched outside Thundermar in the Twilight Highlands, and had to wait 5 mins for the daily quest givers to respawn
I had a great moment in the Twilight highlands I was fighting the NPC so the other guy (Garona) could sneak up and kill him. suddenly the target died, then she died..then I died...if not for the achievement I wouldn't of known what happened cause I was up on a tower, no flames or anything.
YEah, he torches EVERYTHING. all of it. happened to me in the south barrens when i was leveling my llort drood prior to cata actually happening. EVERYTHING died. me, my meatshield, and everything.
He torches everything in his path, yeah. But I've been in zones where he's popped in for a bit o' doom and as long as you're not in front of him you're safe enough. Of course, I did get killed by him once: first time I saw the sky change color, and I didn't know what that meant. Then I saw him flying parallel to my path, and I decided to ride up a hill (this was pre-expansion but post-Shattering so no flying in Azeroth yet) to get a better look. Unfortunately, by then he had made a right turn and was coming straight for me. DRT. Though the achievement was nice compensation. ;)
BTW, I love how your characters are borderline sociopaths. :D Jyosette is unconcerned with social norms and other persons, Sara is flighty and oblivious, and Kleeyo tends to have a hair trigger on her violence and is sarcastic as all get out.
"GNOMAIL!! like gnome. mail. GNOMAIL!" Actually I have seen the grind and love all of the episodes its pretty great how they were made back in the old school days when only dwarf preists had fear ward. One day perhaps they will put out a fourth episode. The grind's awesomeness aside as far as filler comics go its a pretty amusing one
Did finish the quest tho.

They really deserve each other. ;)
Unless you're Forsaken, I'd probably opt for the rez sickness. XD
I REALLY wonder what part of Jyo he digested... O_o
