This was a comic I had originally made as a guest comic for Daily Quests ( some months ago without receiving any sort of reply. I figured it was either rejected or lost in their spam box. Either way, I spent too long on this for it to simply disappear, so I'm posting it as this week's comic. Since next week's comic (which will continue on with the original story) is already finished, so I'm going to take this free week to catch up on other things.

Although looking at this comic again, I could understand why it may have been rejected. The humor is a bit dry, and one of their characters is portrayed performing an OOC bubblehearth and the other getting killed, and the worst of it all- a female dwarf!?

The dwarf is obviously not an S&K character. Sara, with her belf-hating habits, would have been far better suited for the role, but I felt it would have simply been too inappropriate to portray one of my comic characters killing one of theirs. The dwarf IS one of my in-game characters, though. She represents my 5th lvl 80, and least-played alt.

In any case, I can chalk this one up as a lesson learned.

And if any of you haven't heard of the severe beating of reference mentioned in the last panel, you can go to youtube and just type in "Adam Sandler severe beating of" and it should come up with several clips. They are hilarious.

Ha! I loved it. I can't believe they didn't put this up. Maybe they don't take guest comics...I dunno. I'd love to see the dwarf in the regular comic, though. I think it was perfect.

There are a few comic that don't post guest art (like DLC, Teh Gladiators, ect), but Daily Quests has posted a few in the past in their blog portion.

Well, I don't mean to sound like I know it all, but I just went through the whole archive and saw only one that was done with Kelly over at WoWEh. But that was those two sites working together...what's that word again...

In answer to your question, one can never go overboard when it comes to killing blood elves.

It's funny, but I think they might not have used it because you kinda got Vas' character a bit wrong. From what I've read in the comics, he just basically likes running headlong into any battle without thought or concern, so in that situation he'd probably be more eager to beat the crap out of the dwarf, and only afterwards would go, "Oh, I didn't see you there" to Fyreuni. Or maybe get his butt beaten. Either way, his bubble-hearthing is just kinda out of character.

Still, not a bad attempt and it's a good, dry joke. I think it would've fit Sara leaving Kleeyo behind to face some monster alone, myself. But that's just my opinion, which is worth the amount of air required to utter it.

Can't see a reason for not posting that without not receiving it - gave me a very good laugh, still there to be honest.

Someone else mentioned killing belfs. When's the next hunt? =D

Very well done! Love it!

Sadly, I can tell this was done before the bubble nerf... we will miss you bubble hearth... we will miss you...

Yeah, using it to piss off Horde in world PvP was such a past time for Sara. I don't know if I could ever get by if I returned.

Okay, I have NEVER seen this before, and I totally apologize for not getting back or anything, I don't know what happened...I was shocked when I saw this linked in my comments section, I even had to ask Vas if he had seen it before too. Apparently neither of us have. I am so sorry!

Because I think its AWESOME! And had I seen this before I would have gushed about it because Woo! Someone actually made a guest comic for me! :D Thank you thank you THANK YOU!

Again, I feel HORRIBLE about not seeing this sooner, and made you feel like you weren't good enough or something, I did not intend that at all! <:(

Thanks for the Reply, Fyreuni! If you haven't seen it before, then I guess that solves that mystery. I guess your spam box devoured it. Emails with attachments tend to suffer that fate, but I didn't want to risk looking like a douche by sending it multiple times if the first one had been possibly rejected. I'm glad you liked it! Needless to say, I love your comic.

I sent you an email to your yahoo address, not sure if you got it, but I wanted to make sure I had permission to post this as my comic next week, 'cause I could surely use a break! Let me know if its cool or not, here or email, thanks! ^_^

Of course!

I sent a reply email just in case that gets to you first. I would be honored if it made it to your site!

Dwarf DK huh? What's her name? x3 I'm fond of Dwarves, my main is one and I never regretted making her for a second.
Clef 20th Apr 2011, 3:52 PM edit delete reply
My DK's name was Vgsatomi. She only hit 80 about a month or two before I left, just enough time to expend my stockpile of 200 Wintergrasp commendations to deck her out in the latest honor gear (which was Relentless Gladiator at the time). So I didn't get to do much with her, unfortunately.
