And now we know why he wants to die. Probably wants it in the most painful manner possible. Self-realization is a terrible thing for those who have done the truly terrible. Wonder how many Tauren he's slaughtered? Wonder how viciously, and mercilessly he's slaughtered them?

Clef I'm going to speak directly to you for just a moment, instead of the comment page. You can write a powerful story when you want to. I can go back and remember the moments in your comic that have brought a lump to my throat and a tear to my eye. It's a rare storyteller that can keep their story moving, evolving, for as long as you have. There's some kid...can't remember his *name* right now *cough*...that comments in these pages that has developed into a pretty good one himself. But yours is the first ongoing story I was blessed to stumble in on during my time in WoW. It has been an unflagging joy to greet each new update here. You've at least hinted that the story may be drawing to a close. This is sort of ironic, as my character's stories on Azeroth are also drawing to a close. For many of them, barring unexpected exceptional circumstances that I'm not anticipating, their journey will end on Monday, July 18. For all the rest, our stories will conclude on July 31. I know why I am leaving Azeroth. I know that at one point you had stopped playing also. If it has become a grind to you; if it has stopped being a joyous thing for you; if you have just reached a point where it's painful for you, then I understand and want you do do what is necessary for your physical and mental well-being. If you are doing it because you feel no one cares about the story anymore, I think you need to look back at the comment pages. If you have another reason, I wish you nothing but the very best in the rest of your life as you leave from here. I just wanted to say this as it seems a lot of things connected to World of Warcraft are coming to an end right now, and it's making me not a little sad to see people and things disappearing from my life, as small as their perceived presence may have seemed.

Thanks for the comment! I've always looked forward toward yours, as you always have the most insightful feedback that lets me know the material presented is being understood the way I hoped it would be.

Everyone is going to have to leave WoW sometime. I had my reasons, and I know you have yours. Besides, Wow is not like an old console game system that you can pull out of your closet after 30 years, hook to an old TV and still play it- once the last server is shut down, that's it. All the hours that millions of people invested are gone forever.

And what you mentioned about lackinganame (assuming that who you were talking about since the description fit like a glove) is a bit if an understatement. His skill in art and storytelling have increased hundreds of percents in a very short period of time, cranks out pages with quality and consistency I could only dream of, and surpasses this comic in many ways.

Gaaaaaww! You two make my day!

Cleff, You helped me out in my early days with advice and even put up some guest work I've done for you a number of times.

Maryalee, you've given so many comments and those have kept me going thus giving the chance to grow.

(I think I might be highly vulnerable to compliments)

Aha! So some of Alistair's backstory is revealed. I knew there was something decidedly off about him.

Re the future of W.o.W, yes I don't expect Blizzard to oblige long-time enthusiasts of the game. I figure them to pull the plug once they feel there's no longer profit to be made. Pirate servers make keep it alive a few years longer, *IF* they can create servers that are bug free. The worst part about being on a pirate server is finding a quest you just can't complete.
