I have had this idea in the back of my head for some time, back when doing the dailys in Terrokar during Burning Crusade. Those GODDAMN Kaliri birds never failed to just swoop in from out of nowhere and knock you off your mount on the first hit. I swear, if it weren't for Divine shield and parachute cloaks, I'd probably left that daily with negative cash gain.
I always wanted to try doing one of those amusing demotivational posters and this also gave me the excuse to draw Kleeyo in her old season 2 set, which in my opinion is STILL the coolest looking armor set in the game. I still have a few of the old sets I completed, all the way back to my old Soulforge and Judgment sets and up. Takes up tons of bank space, bit I enjoy holding onto the good memories.
Exit question: Is there any armor sets that you think are particularly well done? Do you keep old sets you've completed in the past?

Copy this comic strip into LiveJournal, your blog or Myspace with this code:
Valorous Darkruned Battlegear for the DK, only of the few iconic cool Wrath sets.
So much wasted potential...if they let us look like we wanted then I wouldnt mind but if your going to force us to wear your mud brown armor at least let us cover it up with something that actually makes us look like heroes.
I tend to collect some exclusive items like all class-specific rewards (e.g. my prayer beads). I guess it's good to cling to your memories even though you will never be using these (with one exception, the Gnomeregan-teleport-stick-thingy that helps with Gnome/Dwarf-related achievements)
For me its my old Valorous Siegebreaker Plate set for my female tauren warrior. Snagged the Conquerer version as well but I always preffered the blue highlights of Valorous.
Also, if you want or need to, you can use a Wow Model Viewer to set up the armour sets that you have and just save them to your character folders. That's what I did when I was thinking about making a Wow comic, (but I have to wait until I get enough info about the many different things in Cataclysm before I think about it again. lol)
Nice comic, as usual. And yea, keeping gear for memories is great. I have the old 'twilight armor set' on my warlock, they dont do anything but its for the look. I have the Scythe too haha, from the old Warlock quest. I got my rogue's lv60 pvp gear as well, good times on that.
My sisters thought you might get a kick out of our kit we use to run lower level stuff.
Draenei Shaman - TenStorms and Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros
Human Paladin - Lawbringer and Drillborer Disk wi Crystalline Kopesh
Human Paladin - Judgement and Drillborer Disk with Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker
Night Elf Rogue - Darkmantle Armor and Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker wi Felstriker
I have so many uncompleted sets, but the ones I have are sitting in the bank waiting for me to find some use for them. RP servers make old armor sets happy :D

Oh, and remember the Gnome punting jokes? :) http://nielspeterdejong.deviantart.com/favourites/?offset=24#/d36qysn
