Jeez, Sara! When you said you were rescued by a paladin, you didn't say it was THE paladin! Although it might explain why she joined the Argent Crusade to get back at Arthas...
BTW Uther is my favorite lore character. Wanted to put him in at least one comic. Gott'a love kick-ass paladins! I didn't really know how to draw him, so I drew a younger WC3 variant. I was really disappointed when they just made him just a measly boss character in WC3, but then again, making important lore characters expendable bosses is a pretty common theme now in warcraft.
...not saying that he was an EASY boss....he would obliterate every army I sent at him, so I had to build a frigg'n necropolis right next to him and kite him around with Arthas until he died! Sheesh!
Exit question: Do you have any particular favorite lore character? Why?

My favourite character is probably Arthas. The way he does what needs to be done... it shows great strength. You gotta admire that.
Funny thing is, I was inspired by Arthas to roll a paladin as my main character. Imagine my surprise when I heard that you could roll Death Knights in WotLK! It was fate. I had to follow in Arthas's footsteps.
I was a bit disappointed in the end when, after Arthas died, I couldn't be the next Lich King. Damn you, Bolvar! That helmet was mine! MINE!
Clen stormstoute: from his real life beginnings to his shadow and references to his appearance in game i like the old fat guy. makes me laugh and i like to laugh.
The Stormrage Brothers. Those guys have gone through hell and more just in their lives and even now I heard that Blizz aims to make them even more rough.
Awesome
What I like about this series, is that you just KNOW that at the end of it, after all Kleeyo has done for Sara, Sara will just make fun of her, insult her, and Kleeyo will lava burst her, predictable, yet funny.
And history is back on the right track agein. Have to say i did kinda expect Sara to be a warlock after being saved by a "demon" but i still enjoy seeing how she ended up as a paladin.
Excellent outcome Clef! Completely the opposite to what I was expecting. Your inclusion of Uther fits in very well and you’ve composed an ideal piece of dialogue for him. Kleeyo’s deeds are aptly recognised, yet it’s still possible to feel sympathy for her and very moved by her experience.
To answer your question: Uther Lightbringer has always been my favorite character, back before WoW, back even before WC3. He won me over with the statement “Uther Lightbringer learned first hand that faith alone would not defeat the terrible Horde” and “Many great knights heeded Uther’s beckoning and joined the Order which became known as the Knights of the Silver Hand.” When playing WC2 I always hung on for the moment where I was able to upgrade via the church and watch as the eyes of the knights lit up. In particular I enjoyed the escort quest where you had to see Uther safely past the ambush of orcish and Alterac ships.
The battle of southshore was very early on in WC3, back when Uther was a young man with just a bit of stubble on his face. I was surprised to see him looking like he did in WC3.
I always meant to have each of my taurens join the Argent Crusade and pay their respects at Uthers tomb. Sadly I never did get around to it, and I’ve finally run out of patience with all the nerfing and given up on WoW.
In last week’s posts someone said that Kelly of WoW Eh was unwell. What has happened to her?
Another quite tearful moment from warcraft in few days...
I alwas liked Rhonin a lot...
I would think we should be at least allowed to build a statue to Rhonin in Theramore crater... you know... visit all those he ever helped...
"goodbye" ceremony Kirin Tor gave to him was okay I guess... but somehow I missed former aspects, Jarod Shodowsong, Malfurion, Tyrande, and dwarves there...
I don't know if the TCG images would make good references, since practically each one is done by a different artist and a lot of them are fan arts. Besides, look at him in that one...he looks like Russell Crowe from The Gladiator...only thinner!
Great comic Clef! I always look forward to the new S&K and I'm never disappointed!
Exit question answer: Bolvar Fordragon, easily. His courage, his sacrifice, even beyond death. His unbreakable will, the way he withstood the Lich King's power for so long. I always get the chills when I walk into ICC and I hear him yell at the Lich King, "NEVER, I WILL NEVER...SERVE...YOU!!"
Bolvar Fordragon is a hero of the Alliance, he saved Stormwind from the machinations of Lady Prestor, he led the campaign in Northrend. And when even beyond death, he continues to serve, damning himself to an eternity as the Lich King so that Azeroth can be safe.
That is true heroism and sacrifice, to my mind. And yet, he never did it for his own glory. At the very end, he tells Tirion "I must be forgotten." Here is a man who sacrificed an eternity to save the lives of everyone on Azeroth, and he did it because he knew it was his duty, and he carried out that duty gladly, without expectation of recompense in any way.
Being a typical Tauren player, I always liked Cairne Bloodhoof. The guy was old, but still kicked ass, always was a tempering, moderate voice for the Horde, and if it weren't for cheating by certain persons, he would have killed Gorrosh and taken over the Horde and probably kept half the insanity from happening.
My Favriote Characer must be Jaina, for all reasons she is smart a tactician and a ruler. She is strong, brave and full of character. Anyway I love these comic keep up the good work you got an new fan.

ether way as it is WHATS HAPPENING NEXT!!
ever consider professional writer. (not that this dosn't count.)

I heard Jarod wowed to find her, not Malfurion...

As for my favorite lore character... the Dark Lady Sylvanas.

Bolvar is one of the true badasses in WoW.
Wipe out undead and Lich King entity may be destroyed...
He can at least hope he will be relieved of work.
As long as people are dying and there are necromancers to raise them, the Scourge continues to exist.
